Pine City hits the court again tonight on the road against their rivals from Mora. In the first game of the season, Pine City sophomore, Lily Wilson, scored her 1000th career point. Lily, who has started varsity since 8th grade, is on pace to break Pine City's all time scoring record (1727) set by Gretchen Linzmeier in 2012. The Pine City game against Mora can be heard on 100.9 FM.

The Pine City Area Dragons are seeking their third-straight Two Rivers Conference championship this season. The team most likely to stop them from reaching that is St. Paul Highland Park. St. Paul Highland Park finished second in the conference last season with their only conference losses being to Pine City. This is the Dragons first home game of the season. Pine City is looking for its first win of the year while the Scots won their first two games before falling last night. Puck drop is at 7:00 and the game can be heard on 106.5 FM/AM 1350.

Boys Basketball
The Pine City Boys Basketball team opens up its regular season with a game that traditionally goes in their favor. The Dragons will play host to Ogilvie. Pine City won its two matchups against the Lions last year by a combined 121 points. The Dragons won't get much rest after the Ogilvie game, travelling to the Target Center on Saturday to take on Duluth Marshall.
