Pine City mayoral candidate Terry Neitzel was convicted of felony Terroristic Threats and misdemeanor assault on Friday Sept. 14.
Neitzel was charged on Sept. 18, 2017 after he attacked a woman who was trying to delivery paper work to his apartment with the handle of a shovel and threatened to kill her.
The sentencing hearing for Neitzel is scheduled for Nov. 2nd.
A maximum sentence for terroristic threats is 5 years in jail and/or a $10,000. The maximum sentence for 5th degree assault is 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
