The Pine City School Board along with teachers and area business people will be touring Alexandria schools later this month.
The Oct. 26 visit will be the first of four visits so Pine City Schools can see the Pathway Model implemented in a learning environment.
Alexandria high schools Pathway Model is comprised of four learning tracks that help students move toward their career goals.
In this model, all students begin with the freshman academy. From there, they choose from three different academies that range from Communication, business, engineering, manufacturing technologies and health and human services.
The goal of this model is to help students learn based on personal interests and career aspirations as they move toward college or the workforce.
