Pine City sophomore Lydia Adams now knows who were first round opponent will be in the State Tennis Tournament. Adams will face off against Emily Henderson, a junior from Jordan. Emily was the runner-up in Section 2A. She lost to Ally Agerland of HFC 6-3, 6-2 in the finals.
After the section championship, tennis coach Kristin Unverzagt said, "She played very confident and dominated the games. She had good shot selections and played smart. I am excited to see her play in the state tournament for second time!
