The Pine City boys basketball team is off to a hot start this season winning their first six games. After a close, one-point victory on Tuesday night, Pine City picked up a comfortable 102-72 win over conference opponent, Isle on Thursday night.
The victory was celebrated for the Dragons along with senior Nick Hansmann reaching his 1,000th career point. Hansmann has had a great career for the Dragons so far and picking up this milestone early in the season is a great accomplishment for Nick.
Pine City has a week off before next weekend when they are competing in a Holiday Tournament in Cloquet.
