Jaguars and Mustangs Advance in Softball Playoffs

#3 Mora defeated Virginia 3-1. They then lost to Esko 7-2. They will play again on Tuesday against Moose Lake-Willow River at noon in Grand Rapids

#4 Rush City lost to #1 Proctor 7-6 in eight innings and then lost to Moose Lake-Willow River 6-2.

Section 5A

Hinckley-Finlayson defeated Braham 8-4 to claim the Sub-Section runner up. They will play against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale on Tuesday in Brainerd.

Section 7AAA

#4 North Branch defeated #5 Duluth Denfeld 10-0. They will play against Cloquet on Saturday.

Section 7AAAA Wednesday

#8 Cambridge-Isanti lost to #1 Forest Lake 10-0.
