The Pine City Dragons tennis team faced off against Foley yesterday in a battle for the conference title.
The Pine City Dragons played hard and made Foley earn each point they got. The singles players stayed aggressive and took advantage of offensive opportunities. The doubles did a good job closing the net. The first doubles team scored the only point for the team. The Dragons fell to Foley 1-6. Head Coach Kristin Unverzagt said “I am so proud of their efforts and they battled hard.”
Pine City travels to Foley this Saturday for the individual conference tournament. The Dragons will host Becker next Monday at 4:30pm.
