The Pine City Dragons girls tennis team competed in the first round of the playoffs yesterday against Mora.
The team was aggressive with their shot selection and ball placement but played well. The Dragons beat the Mora Mustangs 6-1. With the win the Dragons will head to the section semi-finals next Monday in Sartell at noon. Pine City will play #1 seed Virginia.
Head coach Kristin Unverzagt said “Overall, the team is improving each time we step on the court. They are fired up and excited to head to Sartell to play next Monday.
