Light Up Princeton was a success this year for the community. The drive-thru light display at Riverside Park ran from November 28th thru January 1st with special events in between.
Overall, around $5,500 was raised in donations, with half being donated to the Princeton Pantry and the other half going to local organizations including Mille Lacs Fair Board, Youth Baseball Association Flight Expo and more.
“All the money went right back into the community which I think is really great and appreciative by all the organizations.” said Community Development manager Stephanie Hillesheim
Along with donations, over 2,300 pounds of food was donated to Princeton Pantry. The city would like to thank everyone who came out to experience the event as well as the many volunteers that made it happen.
