Braham Area Schools will continue its Flight 707 initiative during the 2024 and 2025 school year.
According to an update from superintendent Ken Gagner, the structure will remain the same with small modifications possible.
The pilot program began last fall, with the school day starting an hour later on Mondays.
Braham teachers start Monday at 7:07 a.m. for an extra hour of prep time to help improve students’ academic performance.
Two days were added to the student calendar to avoid losing instructional time.
The district also launched a free Flight 707 Care program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade from 7:30 a.m. to the start of the school day on Mondays.
