A 72-year-old woman is dead in Mille Lacs County after she was struck by a pickup truck while leaving a convenience store Thursday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chevy Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the victim in the parking lot of a Super Stop in Onamia.
The 69-year-old driver of the pickup, along with two children passengers, was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
