Burned Out Car Discovered in Chisago Co.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is looking for information after a derelict car was found at the Sunrise River landing on Ferry Road.

According to a post on social media, law enforcement received a report of the burned-out Mazda on January 7, 2020, writing on Facebook, "At this time we don't know who the vehicle belongs to or how it ended up burned out and abandoned. We think it may have been dumped there between January 3-6."

A partial Minnesota license plate was recovered at the scene by deputies.
