The Cambridge City Hall will be reopened starting tomorrow.
This comes after a fitting that connects the lobby’s water fountain broke and proceeded to leak for approximately 28 hours.
The leak was discovered by a Cambridge police officer after viewing camera footage.
City Hall sustained some water damage on some of the walls, flooring, carpeting and trophy cabinets, which was covered under an insurance claim with a $5000 deductible.
The building will still have repairs being conducted during this time but all city hall operations will resume.
