The death of an Isanti County Jail inmate on Thursday morning is under investigation.
According to an Isanti County Sheriff's Office news release, first responders from the sheriff's office performed live-saving measures on a party incarcerated in the Isanti County Jail, including using an AED, around 6:30 a.m.
The party was transported to the Cambridge Medical Center, where they were later pronounced deceased.
The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office will determine the manner and cause of death.
