Fire Claims Rush City Building

A building is being considered a total loss after multiple fire departments responded to a structure fire in Rush City, Monday afternoon.

Members of the Rush City Fire Department was joined by the North Branch and Pine City Fire Departments at the 200 block of West 4th Street.

The structure was believed to have been vacant and unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with a fire investigator with the Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division.
