The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a Sunday morning crash in Isanti County that resulted in the death of an Isanti woman.
According to the state patrol incident report, the crash occurred on Highway 65 in Cambridge Township around 11:30 a.m.
A Mercedes E Class lost control on the icy roadway and struck a Toyota Tacoma.
Both drivers were transported to the Cambridge Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The passenger of the Tacoma, identified as 47-year-old Isanti woman Erika Anondson, died as a result of her injuries.
The Braham and Isanti police departments also responded to the scene.
