Multiple residents had requested that Hillman Township Board Chair Ryan Martens step down from his position after being arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct back in August.
According to the criminal complaint, Martens had engaged in sexual conduct with a 17 year old individual from April of 2020 to the end of May of 2021
Residents made their request to Martens to step down from his position back on October 19th due to the charge in question, but Martens has refused the request.
Martens had already stepped down from his position on the Mora Airport Board back in August.
