The city of Isanti is asking for the public’s help in naming a new park.
The proposed natural playground is located in the northeast side of the city, on the corner of 7th Avenue Northeast and Triumph Trail Northeast.
Name submissions are open through Friday, Nov. 8. The Parks and Recreation Board will review the potential names at its meeting on Nov. 26.
The board will recommend a proposed name to the city council for approval.
When the winning name is chosen, the contest winner will be asked to cut the ribbon at the new park once it’s completed.
Residents can submit name ideas on the City of Isanti website.
