The race to fill late Commissioner Anderson’s seat on the Kanabec County Board will begin next week with a special primary election.
Nine residents from the Mora area have thrown their names into the ring for the District 2 seat. The top two candidates will then be placed on the special election ballot slated for August 9th.
Candidates that will be on the primary ballot include: Frank Westling, Todd Sjoberg, Mandi Yoder, Robert Schroeder, Lowell Sedlacek, Kathleen Parson Eklund, Robert Jensen, Alison Holland, and Joe Heggernes.
The primary will take place on Tuesday, April 12th at the Mora City Hall with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
