From Milaca Area Chamber of Commerce:
Today, the Board of Directors of the Milaca Area Chamber of Commerce announced that this year’s Rhythm on the Rum Parade and Festival, (formally Gateway to the Northland Parade and Festival) scheduled for Tuesday-Saturday, June 15-19, will go on.
“We are so excited to be hosting this beloved event for our community,” Executive Director Andrea Mikla said. “We have been in frequent talks with our local High School Band Director, Andrew Nelson, Parade Band Coordinators Dean Angermeier and Cari Harper, and our partners at many local departments. There will be some changes, but overall the events will be as we formally knew them to be.”
The health and welfare of the community is of primary concern. Therefore, Covid guidance set forth by the Minnesota health officials and Governor Walz, will be followed.
