The Mora City Council awarded bids for two collaborative projects with MnDOT during a special meeting on Monday.
Mora’s Highway 65 left-turn lane project at 9th Street is being done through the Department of Transportation’s local partnership program.
The effort seeks to create safer access to the new Mora High School.
The project was awarded to Princeton’s ACM LLC with a bid of $393,650, contingent on MnDOT’s approval. It was the low bid of four on the project.
The council awarded the city’s Snake River Bridge Trail connection project to New Look Contracting, located in Rogers. The bid was for $164,665.00, and was the lowest of four submitted.
According to an email from Mora administrative services director Natasha Segelstrom, both projects will begin later this month and are anticipated to be completed this fall.
