Library Park will be the site of a community event on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 12:00 – 4:00 pm known as Fall Fest. Fall Fest is a celebration of local parks with a day of family activities, entertainment, food, and fun. Admission is free. Library Park is located at 210 Maple Ave. W., Mora, MN 55051. This is an event for all ages with all activities and entertainment being family-friendly. We hope you’ll join us at Fall Fest!
The event will include several activities in the park such as a pumpkin painting, face painting, a speed zone, corn dig, conk the crow, henna art, and more. Entertainment will be provided in the gazebo including a magic show featuring Old Man Magic at 12:00 pm, a strolling magician Kevin Hall at 1:00 pm, and a live musical performance featuring Kenny Krona & Rick Stener at 2:00 pm. Primo Tacos, Emma’s Pizza, and the Ice Cream Machine will be on-site selling tasty food and treats. We will also hold our first BBQ Cook off starting at 2:00 pm.
Fall Fest is organized by the City of Mora and its Park Board and is sponsored by several community partners including; First Citizens Bank, Coborn’s, Mora Area Youth Recreation Association, Recovering Hope Treatment Center, Lake Street Family Dental, Neighborhood National Bank, Spire Credit Union, Minnesota Energy Resources, Quality Disposal, Rose Krie Northern Lights Reality, Northern MN Suicide Prevention/Crisis Test Line, Mora Chamber of Commerce, Kanabec Publications, Welia Health of Mora and North Country Bottle Shop. The live musical performance portion of this activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
