32-year-old Jackson Johnson was sentenced to decades years in prison after he was convicted of second-degree murder earlier this year.
Johnson was arrested on February 11, 2022, after he strangled Christeen Jo Massey in a room of the AmericInn located on Frontage Road in Mora.
In June, a grand jury indicted Johnson on both first and second-degree murder charges. He later pled guilty to the second-degree murder charge on August 31.
On Friday, December 2, Johnson was sentenced to 439 months, 36 years, with a credit for 295 days already served.
