Mora Public Schools has accepted a purchase agreement for part of the district’s property that was up for sale at its last board meeting.
Superintendent Dan Voce said the parcel that received an offer includes the parking lots south of Maple Avenue.
According to the purchase agreement, the Spruce Street property is just shy of 94,000 square feet and was sold to Jacob Kruse of Solutions Real Estate Group for $140,000.
Voce anticipates that the district’s property north of Maple Avenue will be sold soon as well.
The district began accepting requests for proposals for the former high school site in March, following the demolition of the old campus.
