A North Branch woman is facing possible charges after leading law enforcement on a pursuit Saturday. According to the Braham Police Department, Isanti County Dispatch received a call about a car dangerously passing vehicles north on Highway 65 with its hazard lights on. A Braham police officer spotted the car near Highway 107 and attempted a traffic stop.

The driver failed to stop and led the officer on a chase ranging between 5 and 100 miles per hour.

The officer reportedly used his vehicle to terminate the pursuit south of Highway 70, citing safety concerns for other motorists.

The collision caused the suspect to lose control and strike a power pole.

The suspect was taken to Welia Health in Mora for non-life-threatening injuries.

A blood sample was taken from the suspect and sent to the BCA for testing.

The suspect is facing felony fleeing and reckless driving charges.
