Ogilvie school board seeks applications to temporarily fill vacancy

The Ogilvie School Board is seeking applications to temporarily fill a vacancy after board member Jim Hanna announced his resignation.


Hanna, who served on the board for 14 months, is moving out of the district.


Interested residents of the school district can submit applications to superintendent Kevin Ricke via email by noon on Monday, March 24.


Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have lived in the district for at least 30 days.


Ogilvie will hold a special election to fill the vacancy in either August or November.
