A Saturday morning crash in Isanti County resulted in multiple victims sustaining serious injuries.
According to an Isanti County Sheriff’s Office press release, deputies were dispatched to a crash at County Road 5 and County Road 7 in Spencer Brook Township around 11 a.m.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a Chevy Traverse traveling southbound on County Road 7 did not stop at the County Road 5 stop sign, resulting in a T-bone collision with a Honda Pilot heading eastbound.
An adult male driver and adult female passenger from one vehicle were flown to a metro-area hospital with serious injuries.
The other vehicle was driven by an adult male, and had three juvenile passengers. Two of the children also sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital.
The crash currently remains under investigation.
