Three Arrested after Shots Fired in North Branch

Three suspects were taken into custody Sunday after a report of shots fired near the Kwik Trip on St. Croix Trail in North Branch.

Officer's learned that a vehicle involved in the incident had left the parking lot and another suspect had fled the scene on foot

Shortly after the incident, North Branch Police learned that a Chisago County Sheriff's Office had stopped the vehicle, and officers tracked the suspect to a residence in North Branch.

One of the individuals involved, a 17-year-old from Little Canada, Minn., was arrested for second-degree assault.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
