Two Area Educators Nominated for Teacher of the Year

Teachers from the Milaca and Onamia school districts are in the running for the 2022 Teacher of the Year Award.

English Teacher Kevin Armbrust of the Milaca School District and 1st Grader Teacher Sarah Lancaster of Onamia Elementary School were nominated along with 75 others from all over the state.

An independent panel of leaders in the fields of education, business, government, nonprofit and philanthropy will now narrow down the finalists over the next few months.

The 58th Anniversary of Teacher of the Year will be declared in May during their annual banquet in St. Paul.
